This FREE 1-hour Zoom class covers crucial aspects from the moment of dispatch to the meticulous documentation of the crime scene.

Attendees will learn the protocols and best practices for clear and efficient communication with the 911 dispatch center to ensure a coordinated response. They will understand the steps to properly secure a crime scene, establish a perimeter, and manage the scene to prevent contamination and loss of evidence. Participants will gain insights into the importance of preserving evidence, including techniques for recognizing, collecting (when necessary), and documenting evidence at the scene.

This training is vital for patrol officers who are often the first to arrive at a crime scene. Proper handling of the scene can significantly impact the success of the subsequent investigation.
