A Grim Look at Death: Death and Homicide Investigations

Pinnacle TCI's 3-day Death and Homicide course is designed to provide officers and detectives with real-world investigative techniques drawn from actual criminal cases worked by the instructors. This course covers a broad range of critical topics, including cause and manner of death, child death investigations, crime scene staging, cold case investigations, and investigative genetic genealogy. Participants will also gain valuable insights into 911 call analysis, witness interviews, suspect identification, canvassing, and courtroom preparation and testimony.

The course provides an overview of our HELP ME TRUST interview technique, a proven method featured in Pinnacle TCI’s Conversations to Confessions course. This approach is designed to help investigators build rapport in order to obtain the truth, and providing them with effective tools to advance their cases through interview techniques.

The course emphasizes building strong cases from the ground up, equipping detectives with the knowledge to minimize the risk of wrongful arrests.
