Sex Crimes II: Trauma & the Survivor is a multi-day training designed for law enforcement officers, detectives, victim advocates, and prosecutors who are ready to deepen their understanding of sexual assault investigations, focusing on the complex dynamics of trauma and the impact on survivors. While Sex Crimes I provides the foundational skills for responding to and investigating sexual assault cases, Sex Crimes II picks up where that course leaves off, exploring advanced investigative techniques and the trauma-informed approach necessary to navigate these difficult cases.
While it is highly encouraged, Sex Crimes I is not a prerequisite for this course. Whether you are a seasoned investigator, a victim advocate, or a prosecutor, this course will equip you with the tools and knowledge to handle sexual assault cases with greater empathy, precision, and success.
