Alyce Clark
Dr. Alyce Clark is a distinguished educator, retired U.S. Army Sergeant First Class, and retired law enforcement officer whose diverse experiences enrich her teaching in the realm of Criminal Justice and Forensic Science. Since beginning her academic career in 2016, Dr. Clark has made a significant impact at Keiser University's Criminal Justice Department, where she joined the faculty in the Fall of 2021.
\In Fall 2022, Dr. Clark took on a pivotal role as the Forensic Lead and the University Department Chair for Keiser University, where she developed innovative, hands-on approaches to crime scene investigation, engaging students in real-world applications of forensic science. As a passionate professor, she emphasizes the importance of academic excellence, integrating cutting-edge technology and practical experiences into her curriculum.
An accomplished author, Dr. Clark penned, The Longevity of a Law Enforcement Career Post Critical Incident and contributed to the textbook, A Perspective Look into the Evolution of Animal-Assisted Therapy in Interdisciplinary Approaches to Service and Therapy Animals. Her current research focuses on the Bystander Effect among college-aged students, and she is in the process of writing a true-crime book that delves into various cold cases still awaiting resolution.
In her leisure time, Dr. Clark enjoys engaging in disc golf and photography, pursuits that inspire her creative spirit. With her extensive background and commitment to student success, Dr. Clark continues to shape the next generation of criminal justice professionals.
