Joseph Daday



Joseph Daday is a dedicated law enforcement professional with a commendable career spanning nearly two decades. Since joining the Attleboro Police Department in 2004, he has exemplified commitment and versatility in various roles within the force.

Beginning as a patrol officer, Detective Daday's career evolved as he took on the responsibilities of a middle school DARE (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) officer, fostering positive relationships with the community's youth. His dedication to education and community outreach continued when he served as a high school School Resource Officer (SRO), contributing to a safer and more secure school environment. Currently assigned to the detective division, Detective Daday plays a pivotal role in handling major crimes. For the past five years, he has served as the APD Juvenile Detective, specializing in investigating crimes against children and cases involving missing children.

His commitment to this challenging role led to his involvement in critical regional initiatives. Detective Daday is an integral member of both the county's Missing Youth Task Force and the regional Child Abduction Response Team (CART). His participation underscores his dedication to collaborative efforts aimed at ensuring the safety and well-being of children in the community. With a commitment to staying at the forefront of investigative techniques, Detective Daday is a certified forensic interviewer and mobile device forensic examiner. His expertise in these areas has proven invaluable in solving cases and bringing perpetrators to justice. His impact extends beyond individual cases.

Over the course of his career, he has successfully located over 100 missing or runaway juveniles and adults, utilizing advanced technology. His proficiency in leveraging technology has not only made a significant impact on individual cases but has also contributed to the development of best practices in the field. Recognizing the importance of knowledge-sharing, Detective Daday instructs our comprehensive 2-day course on locating missing youth, sharing his expertise and contributing to the professional development of fellow law enforcement officers.

Detective Daday's career exemplifies a deep commitment to public service, particularly in safeguarding the most vulnerable members of the community. His multifaceted roles, investigative prowess, and dedication to ongoing education make him an invaluable asset to the Pinnacle TCI team of dedicated instructors.
